FCP does not recognize TC

I am about to start a big multicam project in FCP X (10.0.8_) I have a brand new iMac 27" 10.8.3 with 16GB with a Promise Thunderbolt disk.
The material I want to import is: Linear PCM, MPEG IMX 625/50 (50 Mb/s).
Everything goes ok, except FCP doesn't see the original TC. In the import window the TC starts at 0 and it should be something like 16:43:12:09. When I look at the same material in FCP 7 it does see the correct TC.
Does anyone knows how to handle this?
