the frame in question is during a jpeg image .. no filter , no transition ... and in the middle of the jpeg image (which has a duration of 5 seconds)
Oh yeah .. I have tried to remove and replace the jpeg in question ... still no joy :(

just extra information ... the file in question was a png and not a jpeg as previously stated.
and the export was to h264 .... have tried to change to a differrent codec to see if it resolves or not.

I've been seeing this error myself a few times recently.

Quit FCPX. Relaunch and then delete all Project render files. Now re-export. This has solved it for me.

And I thought I was the only one having this problem. Just started yesterday. However i had to totally reinstall FCPX! What a pain it was. Seemed to cure it though.

Thanks for your replies ...
after seeing this in another topic .. (and there i thought it was just my system playing up !!! ) I changed the codec to export from h264 to Pro Res 422 HQ .. or in other words the top resolution that my system would cope with ... and you know what .. no problem .. exported first time ... however the file was a massive 8GB for a 5 minute film ... which in order to send via email just wouldnt do !
SO .. I reloaded this new exported film into X and managed to export using H264 as usual ... took time but worked out !!

:cheer:

If it happens again however (hopefully not but you never know) I will have at least two new options to try so thanks again !!! ;)

Good day! I have this happens then update and emergency shutdown of the program. I have treated this issue in the following ways: 1. Reinstalling FCPX of clouds after removing FCPX. 2. Remove render files. 3. Created a Duplicate of the project and the start of a new project.
