iMac 21,5 2.7Ghz (Turbo3.2) quad core i5, 8gb ram fusion drive and NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 512MB GDDR U$1.549,00

For FCPX and Motion 5, always go with more powerful GPU. Put 16GB RAM in that iMac, too.

FCPX may struggle with only 512 MB on that graphics card.

Whatever you do, just buy the RAM yourself. That will save you a lot. Also, see if you know anyone that works for apple or have a student help you buy a computer for a discount.

See if you can find a refurbished 2011 iMac with the 2GB video card, add your own ram and ssd.
