importing imovie project to fcpx crash was created by NEMCtv6
Fcpx keeps crashing when i try to open a project that i imported from imovie....
I imported a Imovie project into FCPX and now when I goo to open the projects window it crashes, every time.
Side note: Just before importing the Imovie project I created a new project in FCPX of the same name as the Imovie project I then imported.
Your help is greatly appreciated. At this time I can edit on the current timeline but cannot open any other projects without it crashing...

Seems to be working fine now.
I found the associated folders and deleted the imported project file.
Thanks anyway.

I have had the same problem where I have imported a quicktime film and the program kept shutting down on me. In a youtube video I heard that it is because it takes hours and hours to process and render. Is that true?
I would love to be able to open the film in FCP because there is some changes I want to make.
I didn't really get how you did it? I'm not sure if we're having the same problem, but if so, please share.
