Lines throughout footage from DSLR

This is my first time editing with footage shot on a DSLR (I did not shoot the footage.) Throughout darker spots of the fashion show that was shot, there are black shadowy lines that move vertically throughout the dark areas. I tried to grab a screen grab, but it's hard to notice unless the clip is moving.

A friend of mine said the ISO might of been too high, not sure as I've never shot with DSLR before. Anyone ever experience something similar/have any recommendations for fixing this in post?

Post a short video clip.

Are these vertical top to bottom lines, or are these horizontal sideways lines?

Odd...

They're towards the top left corner, they happen on most of the dark shadowy areas of the clips I was given.

What kind of lights were in the room? Looks like some rolling shutter/shutter rate bs light flicker thing.

Looks like macro blocking? Filming in a dark area with high ISO; you often get weird artifacts.

I'm not sure what kind of lights were there, I did not shoot any of the footage. It was a fashion show shoot if anyone is familiar with a typical set up?

Are there any filters/tricks that could help reduce the effected footage?

I think Ben is right; must be something to do with the lighting and the frame rate, but I think its being exaggerated by the high ISO causing artifacts on top of it. The banding or flickering can also be clearly seen on the girl on the left.

You could try the free trial of Neat-Video to see if that can reduce some of the noise and macro-blocking; I doubt its going to help.

Other than that you could just add a mask to blur the section of wall where its most obvious, that wont help if the camera is moving around a lot (or where you see it on the girl).

Thanks for all the advice guys. I'm going to try the trial of neat video and see if that helps. I'll also try blurring the area with a mask and see what makes it as best as possible.
