Maybe Apple should have spent their "press briefing" highlighting what third party developers were doing....

awesomeness...any word on upgrade pricing?

No mention. SliceX is $79 so one might hope just the $20 price difference during the sale.
I think someone said it'll be $149 after that.

I hope there will be upgrade price too

I asked about update pricing:

Hello Roger,

Just read the exiting news about Slice X with Mocha.

I bought your wonderful Slice X. Will there be an update pricing for existing Slice x users?

yes there will be, its not announced yet

this would have saved me hours deleting a stray photographer that got into my wedding reveal shot last year!

Good to hear there will be upgrade price

I'm a bit confused by this discussion. Is the $79 price a temporary "new user" price? By new user I mean people who are not upgrading. If temporary, does anyone know when the price will come back up?

Old price without tracking $79
Temporary price with tracking $99
Standard price with tracking $149

Got to see it first hand at NAB yesterday. Amazing. Super fast analysis. Will release in about 3 weeks. Still needs some tweaking. There will be an upgrade price from "SliceX" to "SliceX With Mocha", but that price has not been determined yet. Both products will be sold side by side. $179 for Mocha version new. Really super impressive. Loved the tracking with Object Remover and a custom shape. Tracking can also be enhanced with key framing.

The $99 is a NAB special pre-order price.
