Hi! I'm new here, and pretty new with FCPX. With my camcorder (canon XA10) I can record two audio channels.. When I put it to FCXP i can either choose if i use dual mono, or stereo etc.. with stereo I can hear the audio coming from different channels, but here is the question:
I have normal shotgun mic on the left channel, and wireless mic on the right. How can I seperate those channels in FCPX so I can use only other in some parts and the other on some..?
Thanks!

Switch the channel configuration to dual mono. In the timeline use the expand audio components functions to see the individual channels.

Thank You Tom.. But..
I tried that, I got the two different tracks, but still both left and right mics were on both traks.. As I took the volume down on channel one, it still came out from both speakers..?
And the volume bars on the right side of software showed, that both left and right channels are giving sound out.
Sorry for my english, I'm from Finland so hope u excuse me

When in mono mode (1 channel) the pan is set to 0 and play both left and right equally.
If you want the track as either left or right track only, only then change the pan of the track (adjust the pan slider) either to left or right.

That I noticed, but.. when I export the video, the sound comes only from one speaker?
or can i I adjust the sound as stereo after I have made the adjustments?
I think It would be a lot easier, if I had two separate tracks, do you think this is possible in FCPX?
From Canons website it said that with CanonXA10 u can record two different audio channels, so i presume it is possible to separate those?

There are no tracks in FCP. When you expand dual mono you have two separate channels to mix how you want. Switch the channels on and off in the inspector to see what they're doing. You should be able to separate and mix as needed.
