I have a completed project, it will be around 10GB in size when its finally bounced to mp4 (720p settings for youtube). The rendered files are about 90gb on my local drive,

How do i now save/bounce this project (fcp 7) to an external drive? I usually send the final project to compressor at this stage using youtube settings, i need to know how to save or bounce this final project from inside fcp to an external? because i have little or no space left on my local drive

Im not very good on fcp to tell you the truth i do not use it to often, so thanks for any help

In Compressor you can right-click the "Source" field in the project window, to "Destination", to "Other", and specify where it gets saved to. You have the ability to specify the location a file is written in any app when you export anything.
