I have a Sony HDR-CX730VE. As a storage support for both movies and photos this model only works with memory cards or memory sticks. I would like to buy a SanDisk SDXC memory card. Does anybody know if I can import easily in FCPX 10.0.7 from such a support? Is it recognized by FCPX? Otherwise, filming in 50p which would be the best memory card to store and import in FCPX? Thanks to anyone who would like to help.

The brand and model of card doesn't matter. As long as the camera formats it itself, and can write the proper file/folder hierarchy to it. You'll want a USB card adapter, too. You can get them pretty cheap.
