Opening Title Sequences

(sorry, I tried to post this in Off Topic - not sure how it ended up here - now I can't delete it, sorry to ask, but Peter could you move it over to Off Topic please?) Thank you

Opening Title Sequences for your short film, TV show or feature, should set the tone, effectively whetting the palate, preparing your viewer for what's in store. Like a movie trailer with its Hook Factor, the Opening Sequence can further draw the audience into the experience you've created. When masterfully deployed the Opening Title Sequence acts as foreplay for the celluloid seduction soon to follow.

We'd mentioned this important component of film editing & production in an earlier thread & showcased some wonderfully creative retoolings of top TV openings , it's time this vital film component received its own category, & what better way to start than to feature the 2013 Film Award Title Design Finalists...

EDIT>>

I'm kind of hoping this thread gets moved over to Off Topic soon, as I'd like to develop it.
In the mean time, here's History Channel's new Vikings opening sequence
