Is it okay to copy and paste timeline from 29.97p project to 24p project? When I do it, everything looks okay, I don't see any problems and since the original footage was shot in 24p I am assuming there is no problem with this? Or is there some down-side that I am not aware of? Can anyone shed light on this?

I know in legacy FCP the re-conformed frame rate stuck. Don't know if it does in FCP X.

So, select the clip in the original 29.97 timeline, right-click, select Reveal In Browser. There it is, range selected and all. Go to the new 24 timeline, hit "E" to edit it in.

But, if it looks only just copy/paste, export it, see if it holds up. If so, then it works.

Yeah I already tried copy and paste the first day I wrote this. It looks fine to be honest, unless I am missing something, I don't see any problems and looks okay!
