Noise reduction-clicks clothing rustle

I am working on some interview videos where one of the speakers was very animated while he talked.

As a result, he produce quite a bit of clothing rustling noise and some clicking from his watch.

The audio was captured via lab mic ans ambient onboard shotgun mic.

Is there a good noise reduction plugin for FCPX that could remove the clicks and some of the clothing noise?

This is something you may need to take to an external program like ProTools or Adobe audition.

But if there's a great plug-in I don't know about then I'll be happy to hear about it!

Dave thanks for the input.

Going outside of FCPX is something I was trying to avoid, as this is video footage not audio recorded to a recorder. So separating and resyncing is a bot of a chore in this case.
I wish FCPX could send audio to STP or even Logic like it did in FCP7.

I am not looking for total fixit solution, but rather one that would be a middle of the road option like izoope or Waves W43 Noise reduction plugin.

While I'm not crazy about the results compared to STP, FCXP has Background Noise Removal as part of Audio Analysis and there's a basic Amount setting in the inspector.
Amongst the Logic plugins there's also Audio Levels Noise Gate and various EQ plugins. I also see under Specialized a Denoiser plugin. There's also Compressors which can push down quieter noise. I don't think there's a pop/click remover though. If there aren't too many you can do subframe editing very easily.

iZotope RX is the best on the market, but it is also very expensive. If general audio repair is a daily or weekly chore for your professional work, it can pay for itself quickly.

Since I purchased it last month, it has a filter that I can adjust the noise reduction as well. ;-)

Neat Video is a 'video' noise reduction but has no effect on audio. The OP is asking for help with AUDIO noise reduction, not video.
