We've all been nattering away about the need, so it's encouraging to see they're taking notice. However, if that posting is current, then our desired audio (Logic, ProTools, Soundtrack, etc) update is still a considerable distance off over the horizon.

That's great news... I doubt I need to complain about audio editing workflows in FCPX. Still, it means sadly, that they're probably a long ways off before implementing significant changes.

well it says 'maintain and improve existing infrastructure" which I hope represents new code that is already in place but that we haven't seen yet.

I won't say much, I'll just post what others are saying.
