burning an HD )AVCHD) disc on DVD was created by stewpid
Hi Guys. Firstly, I searched for this but couldn't find an answer so apologies if it's already been covered.
I feel really "stewpid". I just can't get an AVCHD version on to a standard DVD disc. It was straightforward in previous versions of FCPX but with 10.7 it just won't happen. The thing transcodes ok but then writes a data disc which my blu-ray player can't read.
I've sent it to compressor using the blu-ray to DVD settings, correctly adjusted for AVCHD use but still no joy. I've also sent it straight from FCPX to two different DVD burners but same result.
In desperation (have a client waiting to view some test footage) I used Toast and that worked fine, except I'm not sure about the quality.
So, eventually to the question: have any of you managed to get a project from FCPX in AVCHD resolution on a standard DVD disc?
