A built-in effect called "Flipped" does this.

maybe I'm missing an option, but 'flipped' does 180° horizontally or vertically.
but 90°?

that's what I recommended in my first reply.

I'm just irritated by Ben's reply, 90°, 180° … :silly:

It seems you are suffering from 'Vertical Video Syndrome'.

Turning the video 90* is a symptomatic remedy, but it will not cure the root cause of your disorder.

Please watch this helpful public service announcement, and seek professional help:

I really wish the iPhone had a setting to NOT allow portrait movie filming. Even I've been caught out just because I wasn't holding it in landscape as I pushed the record button. So annoying.

I work quite a lot with teenagers and they don't see any issue with upright shooting. Even after I point out the problems with viewing on Tv's etc they still cannot generate any energy about the 'right' format... makes me wonder about my own uptightness:) Then one of them showed me 127 hours and how Danny Boyle deliberately turned the Camera 90 in order to do unadulterated split screen. Creativity and visual shorthand happily always win.. That student then did a 3 camera shoot with upright iphones from various elevated postions of some talent taking a difficult call (24 style), it was brilliant:)
