ONLINE PROJECT TRACKING

I would like to have some help and suggestion to optimize the use of my FCPX to organize and optimize an editing project tracking.

I m looking a plugin or function that would title each clip from my time line as shotname using the clip name or other custom name from the metadata information available.
This title would follow all edit changes.

This could be achieve through a plugin that would display selected metadata for each clip used wile its playing the timeline.

This would have to be optionally exportable.

Not exactly sure what you're getting at, so let me ask a couple of questions to help my understanding.

Do you mean something that will change clip names as you're editing, automatically, on the fly, and then catalog that data somewhere?

What is the goal of this, exactly?

This is the kind of info automatically display i would like to achieve.

OK, that would take some decent programming. You'd have to apply that as a plugin to every clip in the timeline.

Or, fill out the feedback form (Final Cut Pro menu) and let Apple know what you're looking for.

May I ask what the goal is for you? What does this achieve in your workflow?

i would allow me to export my edit and communicate with people not having final cut on outside the world and keep communicating about the right shot and them to have the relative info regarding the source clip.

i would like to be able to display as well custom notes per shot etc such as validation info and comment about the VFX shot as example.
