I just stumbled over video copilot's products and bundles, which all look amazing i must say. but sadly i don't have after effects, nor have i ever used it.

are there 3d bundles, models, scenes, packages such as video copilot 3d elements for final cut pro x?

3D Supercharger V2
It is basic, but ILoveQC is developing it to be much better, plus a version for Motion. Not to mention the plugin they're developing that will do true 3D text inside FCP X.

yes but it doesn't come with textured models like video copilot does.

Pre-made models? For only $49? I can get all the third party stock models I need from many sources. It is what it is. I simply answered a question.

I'm going to remain cautiously optimistic about iLoveQC's efforts for FCPX- but I haven't seen anything from them yet that leads me to believe that you'll be able to get anything out of it that compares in quality to Element3D.

What the Video Copilot guys have done is nothing short of remarkable.

I interviewed ILoveQC, I know first hand what they're doing.

That's great to hear, and along with what MotionVFX are doing, I'm excited as all get out about the possibilities.

But for now, Element3D is the standard. GREAT results. VERY responsive openGL that puts AE's own extrude text to shame. And their new city pack? Amazing.

sadly i don't have that privilege, sorry but i am new to this entire scene. if you can point me into some direction i would really appreciate it.

i only have a macbook pro and only have final cut pro x on there for video editing.

i record mostly infront of my green screen (i happen to have a pretty big room in my apartment that i have been able to keep empty, where i shoot most of my footage.

i am currently searching for something i can replace my green screen with.

and i agree with disproportionate pictures, i have yet to see 3d footage that well textured and professional looking for sale. but like i said, i am very new to the scene.

Here in New Orleans we have one of the best, Turbo Squid . Granted they are top of the line and probably out of many folks price ranges. But if you do a search, there are plenty of companies doing stock 3D models on all sorts of levels.

CGI stock backgrounds are even more abundant and affordable and everywhere.

Nothing against MotionVFX or Video Copilot, they both do really good stuff, but they're not the only games in town, by far.

would you happen to have the time to look around for some great looking background packages? i would truly love to get my hands on some.

of course something affordable, maybe even free or well under 100$.

The higher end programs don't typically come with assets.

Honestly- if you're getting into 3D. Its a whole other world. Element [and ultimately similar solutions for Motion and FCPX] is a special case.

There's no "simple" solution.

i would prefer not to have to learn a whole new program because i am still learning about final cut pro and logic (on the side), i think another program would just be too much. which is why i don't believe in actually creating models/scenes but using already created models/scenes. which is why i am looking for something like video copilot in which the scenes already seem pretty much ready to import. if the 3d softwares come with scenes such as video copilot, i might just invest in that now, and get into the depths of the software once i have more time on my hands.

None of the NLEs are well suited to being a 3D application as well. Inherently it's a different sphere of knowledge and work than editing.

You're entering into very complicated territory.

I meant that I'm not doing web searches you can easily do on your own. Sorry, I have too much of my own work to get out to clients. Search, you'll find stuff.

so there are a lot, but you don't have any links lying around.

since you have the time to still look in on this thread, i've got to ask do you at least have some keywords i can search for? because i actually have been looking for a while now, and like i said video copilot is the best i've seen by far in that price range.
