Settings are MXP, which should be 1080. And I also put the fps to 25(it actually says FP25)

In FCPX, when I pull up info for a selected clip, shot with Legria it says 1080i.
Why can´t I get 1080p?

Is there anyway to deinterlace in FCPX.

Can´t find anything, and I´m starting to be a bit frustrated!

And also, shot with Ti3, only info I have is 1920-1080. No info about interlaced or progressive.

Someone help me?

I can't find anything that says this camera shoots progressive. Of course I can't actually find anything that says exactly what format this camera shoots. The Canon codes aren't very helpful.

I see the same with Vixia (Legria USA equivalent). I think the issue is how the camera shoots progressive. It's really a progressive frame split across two interlaced fields. The result is that it will look progressive but FCXP will report that it's interlaced.

I see, I rarely see signs of interlaced, but sometimes I do. However, I can´t seem to find any deinterlace in QuickTime.

Thank you!
