Is there a way, a plugin, something that allows me edit to tape on final cut x? For my job I need to do subtitles and then I need to send the video to a beta. It doesn't make sense to edit the video on final cut x, export the video and then make a session on final cut pro 7 just to edit to tape... And I want to work on the new final cut...

Both AJA and BlackMagic have apps specifically for that. VTR Xchange (Mac) does a nice job.
