I'm trying to capture footage from a Kodak Brownie 2 camera for archive purposes. I can not figure out how to connect it so FCP X will be able to capture from it. Can anyone help me?

Is the 2 the one with the Thunderbolt port?

Um, there's a round, threaded hole here in the bottom of it. Is that a Thunderbolt port?

That port is only for stills. For footage, it is better to use a film scanner. Kodak didn't develop any drivers for the Mac.

Wrong Brownie camera.

This was actually my first camera, when I made my first movies, back in 1973 or 1974. The original "cut and paste" method.

Thunderbolt, tripod mount, pretty much the same. If it doesn't work, you are probably holding it wrong.
