Avid ISIS and Final Cut Pro was created by Scott Markowitz
Has anybody had any long-term success using ISIS?
I intermittently get this error (But frequently enough to make X unusable):
>>Final Cut Pro cannot save changes to Projects and Events.
The disk where your projects or Events are located may be full or unavailable, projects or Events may have moved, or permissions may have changed.
To avoid losing your work, quit Final Cut Pro.<<
Avid simply states that FCPX is not currently supported on their ISIS storage.
Apple says that a properly configured and permissioned volume should work fine - even if it's an ISIS volume.

I'm working on ISIS right now but with Final Cut 7. But I have fired up FCP X and created some events on the ISIS drives without any problems. Did get that warning once but it doesn't seem to cause any problems. I've tried it with the main media on the ISIS and creating an Event locally and then having the media local and copying to an Event on the ISIS. Again no problems.
Had to add the drive as a SAN location though.

In my case, the error pops up extremely frequently. like every other edit or action.
Have you ever tried it after generating proxy media? I'm wondering if making proxies may have caused a problem.
This really seems like it should work fine.
