FCPX 10.0.7 Multicam Audio Bug (click / pop on each cut)

Hi. I spent a couple of hours online trying to find out why in my multicam event, every time I'd make a CAMERA ANGLE ONLY cut, I'd still get an audio drop out or pop or click in the timeline. Several people around the world have posted here and elsewhere, but if/when they found their solutions - they didn't post them. Sigh.

So - here's the fix, as it were, to the FCP X bug.

All is well until you check an Audio Enhance of an audio track either in one of the base clips that make up your multicam sequence or in the multicam collapsed in the timeline. So, you can't do a noise reduction, or equalize it, etc etc., or you will get these pops in your playback. Remove the enhancement, and you're back to good audio. Bummer, but there you are - unless you want to go back and manually (ugh) do crossfades on *every* cut.

Cross fading adjacent tracks is pretty much SOP for audio editing.

I don't understand. Why can't you cross fade the audio? It can be just one frame. Is the audio continuous? If so expand the audio or detach it before you cut the picture in the multicam clip.
