Multicam audio edit blips was created by Disproportionate Pictures
In my mammoth series of 3-camera interviews I'm slaving away at, I'm bouncing back and forth between two audio channels: the mic for the interviewer and interviewee.
What I've been finding is that even though my multicam edits are image only, its still putting slices thru the audio. Not that this is a problem if it's only a visual indicator, but I'm finding I can hear these edits.
Cavat- I've been applying loudness and noise removal to the source audio angle in the multicam clip, so I only have to do it once for each multi cam.
Thoughts?

Am I nuts?
So I'm trying to apply a compressor/limiter to both channels in these multicam interviews.
I've tried applying the compressor in the multicam sequence, and now to the individual audio components in the Project, and when I slice thru a bunch of edits in the multicam I'm still hearing audible "blips" on some of the edits.
If I take all the effects off and just make a bunch of close multicam edits, I don't here any of these edit "blips"
So my question remains- if I want to add loudness/noise removal, OR a compressor/limiter to my multicam dialogue, where do I do it to not get these audio errors?

When I get the clicks, I just add a fade of one frame.

I'd edit the multicam and not bother with the audio filters first.
Then make the Multicam edit a Compound Clip, and apply your audio filters to that. Just like using a bus on an audio mixing board or DAW.
