Cross dissolve holding both images at 50% for a time? was created by Rick2012
Hi,
I'm shooting a music video where I would like to cross dissolve, but hold both images at say 50% for a time.
I'm planning to use the same shot, but flip it so it shows the singer singing to herself.
It's a slow number, and I want it to look dreamy with a slow dissolve into the flipped shot and then hold for around 4 seconds before the cross dissolve completes. Any help appreciated.
Many thanks,
Rick2012

Simply add the second shot as a connected clip on top of the outgoing shot and use opacity keyframes to achieve the effect you want.
