I have created a few graphics with transparency that can be composited however you like to identify footage for clients (or for yourself). I have used these as bugs in the lower right corner and so they are created at 72DPI in small sizes. Unzip the archive for eight different unique graphics. Be sure to set the spacial conform to NONE and then size and locate as you desire.
Hopefully someone can make use of these.
EDIT: not sure if they really belonged in the fcpx templates or not.

DPI means nothing in video land, since we work with fixed frame sizes that DPI can't change. DPI is a print measurement. So what frame size are those bugs?

I understand, Ben. They are 300 x 300 pixels. I resized the originals which I created at 300DPI in Photoshop.
