...or did I just notice it?

it seems new to me..and if it is consider it discovered. ;) In any case what is it for? and why is it in the Titles are?

What is the difference between this and a blank clip from the generators?

If that is an Adjustment layer like the ones below, it is pretty handy.

and another one:

Yes, I have that one, too. I forget who created it. It is very handy. Basically it is a title template with no text blocks, that's all it is. What it does is pretty sweet, too. Info here.

Heh, seems I got it also, since I got SliceX!
Anyways worth to keep. Works just like the ones mentioned above.
I use it if I need to letterbox or s-curve something for a quick review. Also handy for a broadcast safe filter.

Thanks for the info guys, but just to clarify; there is absolutely no difference between this and a title effect with the text deleted. So OK then, its cool as it saves you a step in deleting a text object and in terms of having your timeline organized and not having it named as a title when it is not intended to be one. I was just wondering if it did anything else.....

Cool stuff...... :P

I was wondering where that came from. I had already created one using the online video tutorial from the ripple training twins. Works great, love it!. So it came with SliceX huh? Good to know.

I got it as part of their freebie pack, not specifically with Slice X.
