It's really nice to see plugins with tracking.
I now have almost all my critical plugins from FCP legacy in FCPX.

Their description doesn't seem to be complete so I want to see if any of the goodies are missing.

These guys along with GenArts should take a page out of Apple's book. Price it well and sell lots.
Not price it high and sell a little.

So far, much of BCC has variants elsewhere.
Unfortunately fairly unique effects like Time effects aren't there in FCPX but I found them in Motion. In face I'm finding a good portion of BCC effects are Motion only at this point.
Textures are Motion only and many of the Art Looks such as Charcoal and Pencil Sketch are Motion only

But then why Textures only in Motion?
While BCC Charcoal is Motion only, there are other plugin developers that have similar in FCPX so is this really an FxPlug 2 issue?
I posted my "observations" in BorisFX beta forum on their site and I'll see what they post back. Ironically last week I emailed BorisFX asking when "soon" might be for FCPX support and they responded they didn't have an estimated date yet... as of last week.
It may well be this is a very incomplete beta but, alas, that's just speculation. It may also be they decided to go with what they have while they continue to work on the rest. Some might remember they had a webinar showing BCC in FCPX in August so some parts had to have been almost functional at least three months back.

BenB wrote: I agree that GenArts and Boris are so outrageously priced, it's not even funny. I was pretty disappointed when I wrote a review article for Sapphire Edge. Too much money for way too little practical use. I wonder how BCC will actually get reviewed. But for that much money, I can get the same for less.
Yet I'm going to guess that they're making money with their plugins. GenArts even charges $99/yr for additional templates from a small stable of presumably paid designers.

My distillation is that it seems they're concerned that not everyone has updated to 10.0.6 which has some changes in handling plugins. Also that people would do their own FX building in Motion and Rig/Publish back to FCPX.
