Text Animation

hello im new to this program im sorry if this has been asked before
im trying to animate my text really basic but i cant get it to work
i try adding a key frame to the start of the text with the tracking set to zero and then another key frame at the end with the tracking set to 100 . let it render but the text doesn't move. is there something im missing i watched a video and thats all it showed

Which Title?

… and what kind of move - the animation within the title, or moving the title across the screen?

The text inspector properties cannot be animated. It has keyframes but they don't work. They only work to animate the slider, but it makes not difference to the parameter.
