I have been looking everywhere for an anamorphic lens flare plugin for Final Cut Pro X. Any recommendations or links?

I know it's not free but Tracey has a Kickstarter project running to make some.

Raisins are the worst and I love making fcpx plugins !

Or... if you can't wait for that development team to complete, mFlare has one or two that might be to your liking...

Just over 100 bucks, but looks gorgeous.

If you can get around After Effects a lil bit, Video Copilot has a sick compilation of different flares you can apply to a clip pretty easy, including anamorphic.

Yes; those plug ins look quite interesting. Has anyone used Prolens? I see that there is a Noise Reduction filter there as well - wondering how effective it can be at that price?

Hey guys. We are still working on developing our anamorphic lens flares still. The project wasn't funded so it won't be 4K but it will still be full 1080P and the product will be priced at $75.

@simonpwood The noise reduction doesn't seem to do much. I haven't tested it extensively, but from what I have seen it is more of a constrained blur than an actual NR plugin like some that I have used in the past. The ProLens plugin has other features that I like. To me, the color temperature tool makes it worth it. There are other cool features too.

I have the Provega lens flares and they look great. The price is good and there always seems to be a sale on too.
