*** Any way to remove most of the thumbnail images in the storyline?

One of the last remaining things I can't stand about FCPX is how when you place a clip in the storyline, that it has to run a thumbnail of the clip for the entire duration of the clip. This makes it VERY difficult to see clip separation when you have a lot of clips in the timeline. Has anyone discovered a way to only show the 1 thumbnail/clip like it did in FCP 7? It's probably such a cosmetic issue that nobody else is bothered by it, but I find it really slows me down...thoughts?
Thanks in advance

The only way is to switch off thumbnails completely and use lozenge view. Some people prefer this, and like the lack of visual stimulation/interference the timeline creates in this mode.

It wouldn't be too hard to add a preference for only seeing the first poster frame for each clip in thumbnail view. Fill in the feedback form, the more people request this feature the higher it gets on the priority list.
