FX Factory 4.0 Build 3561 Update

THere is a new update to FX Factory Pro ( a newer build) which solves a few plugin problems.
Thought I would pass this on as I just had to go thru it myself.

Luca Visual FX Film Leaders get updated into the new build of FX Factory Pro. They will not load into the original 4.0 release. Visit the website here www.noiseindustries.com/fxfactory/
to download the latest build and refresh the products in the FX Factory preferences.

Luca Visual FX plugins Grunge Effects and transitions do not get updated through the new build but rather need to be downloaded from the Noise Industries online store.
You can get that here www.noiseindustries.com/store/

The procedures above will restore the proper operation of the Luca Visual FX plugins.

The new build of FX Factory 4.0 also adds a corrected FREE Star Titler title template from Noise Industries and a very nice FREE Coverflux template from Industrial Revolution.

Hope this info is helpful.

Since a few people are now using these forums to openly promote their commercial offerings (what's the approved etiquette surrounding this?), can I take this opportunity of mentioning that FX Factory 4.0 also includes a new version (1.1) of my Tokyo Split Animator split screen effect.

New in this version is the ability to animate both zoom and rotation in addition to the position animation options previously available which adds a lot of extra functionality to the effect. There are also a few other enhancements including more control over the border options.

As with all FX Factory plug-ins there is a watermarked but fully functional trial version that you can check out for free.

(Apologies for the self-promotion but I figure I've given away quite a bit of stuff for free so I'm owed a bit of licence, maybe?)

I have purchased and use Simon's plug-in and find it well-done and very useful. FWIW

Yeah, Tokyo Split is the best split screen plugin I've used so far. Very simple and lots of different options. Good job!

Glad to see the moderator relocated my original post topic to this category. I mistakenly started it in the free fpx effects and templates forum, but had no way to move it.
Thanks, Peter :silly:
