Scaling Lower Res Video Up in Projects - PLEASE Help was created by swiftmed
Hey Guys,
I recently shot a concert in a 6 camera DVD Shoot. It was my first time taking on anything of this scale (4,000 crowd). We used 4 cameras which were all 16:9 1080p High Def cameras. And two which were roaming cameras which weren't broadcast-quality cameras.
My question is this. Although we won't use much footage from the two roaming cameras, they do have a few decent shots. Naturally I want the film to be in the 1080p we shot from the main cameras. Id like to scale the footage from the handhelds up into that (I know there will be a quality difference, but lets ignore that for the minute).
So heres the question. I've created a multicam clip from the 6 cameras. Created a project in 1080p. Add the multicam clip to the project. When I open the clip in the angle editor, if I look at the bottom toolbar, I see the following: 02:11:47 - 640x480 25p Stereo.
Clearly the multicam clip isn't anywhere near the 1080p of the cameras I want it to be. So am I missing something? Has it scaled the HD cameras down to the handheld camera sizes? If so, how can I change that? I want to scale them up, not the HD down. The project the multicam clip has been added to is definitely in 1080p... the clip doesn't appear to be though.
PLease help.

OK... haven just written all that out. I realise I havent used the right settings when creating the multicam clip. I left it on Automatic.
Question is, can I change the video settings of the multicam clip I've created, or do I have to create a new one?

1- Select Multicam Clip in Event Browser.
2- Open the Inspector.
3- Go to the Info tab.
4- Bottom right is an Action Menu (gear icon).
