Photoshop Issues

Anyone else seeing this? 10.0.6 will not recognize changed files from Photoshop. I have a layered PSD that is just text and some lines. I edited it into my project and everything looked fine. I wanted to re-position the text in one area. Opened the file in Photoshop, re-positioned and saved. The change was not recognized by FCP X. The only way I could get it to recognize the change was to save the file with a different name. This used to happen if I changed the number of layers in a file but never when I made a change within the existing structure of a file. I have reported the issue. Crap! I thought we had really made some progress with 6 but now I'm not so sure.

Why not reposition the text in its own layer inside of FCP X?
I just tested with Pixelmator, and you're right, it won't update. Even if I "Relink", or quite and relaunch FCP X. Bummer...

Depending on what I'm doing repositioning in FCP X is a possibility but there are times when I'd rather do it in the PSD file (like if I am using that PSD for other purposes). I have found that flattened files still update properly if modified and re-saved with the same name so I can live with it.
