Whats the most efficient way to copy & pasting clips between Projects? Seems very chunky copying a section of a clip going back to the Project Library then opening up the desired Project and pasting.

You can use the timeline history buttons to toggle timelines more quickly. Go to your project window and open the project you will be copying to and then select go back in timeline history button to go back to the project timeline you want to copy from. Copy the clips you want then select go forward in timeline history and paste to timeline. Isn't really any faster but it does take a few of the clicks from copy to paste.

Yes it is a bit quicker thanks. There is a small lag because I'm copying from a big multicam and FCPX isn't as snappy as it would be with only a single Storyline. Is saving time though!
