Multicam Clip question was created by Marc Lucas
Currently editing a wedding, main speeches section is a MC Clip I want to cut/take sections out of the MC Clip for inclusion in the main edit. If I use the Range selection tool I can select a portion of the audio track (i.e groom mic) and then that audio track will be selected with the section of the clip I want, all good. The tricky part comes when and if you need to alter the short section of the clip in the main edit because that will reflect in the original MC Clip and vice versa. I'm looking for a work around so the small sections of MC that I cut out of the MC edit can be manipulated separately. Do I have to put every small section into a Compound Clip so then I can adjust say the volume and in theory I will be only adjusting the volume of the Compound Clip not the original.
Is there an alternative?
