Compound clips keyframing problem?

I tried to search but didn't really find an answer.
After making a compound clip with say 4 logos and a base video layer, I step in to add some position keyframes to the graphics and FCP puts the first key frame where my playhead is in the project timeline not where it is in the compound clip.

So for example if my playhead was in the center of the compound clip in the project timeline then I double click the compound clip then put the playhead at the start of a single logo graphic to add a keyframe it will put the keyframe in the middle not where I've put the playhead on the single layer.

Make sense? Anyone having this problem?

I just tried exactly the same thing and everything works fine here. This is unexpected behavior, and in most of such cases trashing your prefs might get rid of your issue.
