Gaussian Blur problem... was created by Pazu
All my bluring effects are crap and i don't understand why (you can see it in the darken area)
Any idea ? I test on fcp7, fcpX, PP6 with prores 422, 422HQ, 4444. HD and SD too. Same shit.
Thx you for your help !

What exactly are you trying to do? Looks pretty blurred to me.

Just a example here. I just want a proper blur. I have some lines in blur like stairs... I never apply blur on the whole screen of course, but i can see this problem on some parts of my edit.
A little bit of video, with the gaussian blur.

Maybe it's normal... but i can't have just a better render than that ? On the black shirt, it's just horrible.
I'll try to be as clear as possible. Sorry for my bad english !

I can't get that video to come up, but it sounds like a gradient issue. Yep, 8-bit video processing has been fighting the gradient banding issue for years.

I got your video to come up and play, and yes, Ben is right about the banding. It does look pretty bad on the black shirt. You may be able to bring that clip into motion and apply some type of smoothing filter, or maybe that can even be done within fcpx. I would use a mask and keyframe it to follow the person and apply the necessary filters to that. Blurring the image directly exposes that banding quite a bit.
You might also try to reduce the amount of blur, or even some other types of blurs to see if you can get a more acceptable image.

Pazu try the 'Add Noise' filter in fcp x, under 'type' there is a 'Blue Noise (reduces banding) option, it helped when I had a similar banding problem. Start with the opacity low, on 2 or 3
