Master file not updated for export!? was created by WilderHancock
I am frustrated by the fact that my CurrentVersion.fcpproject looks like the current, updated and correct version in the timeline. But when I try to export or share it, it does not have the current changes in one part of the timeline. Specifically a titles section that was built in fcpx. Is the master file not updating correctly? Some other issue? How do I fix this short of rebuilding that section?
Working with v 10.0.6 on macbook pro, late 2011.
Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)

Haven't heard of this happening before. When you say the current project looks correct in the timeline, have you actually played it back in the timeline to ensure the title sequence you're talking about plays back correctly?

Yep, that's what I mean. It all looks and sounds correct when played in the timeline. but it does not when exported. I am trying to re-render the whole thing now to see if that makes a difference.

That's a good place to start. I assume you deleted your project render files and your event render files thru FCPX. I would suggest deleting ALL as opposed to unused. My guess is that will solve it.
If not, you may want to try deleting preference files and restarting FCPX. Let us know how you make out.

Yes, deleted all. Waiting for re-render. I am definitely upgrading the memory before I use this laptop to edit again as well. And since none of my firewire devices are usable anymore on macbook pros, I also need to find a external drive faster than usb that will connect to it.
