Default transition

Newbie here but just noticed that if you right click on a transition you can set it as the default, it appear to affect all projects too, It doesn't work for the titles though. Didn't notice this prior to 10.0.6

It's easier to post a link than type instructions all over again. What's wrong with that? I mean, it's not stuff that's all in one place or anything. I'm not selling anything. Just trying to help. But sure, I can stop posting links if you wish.

One of the things that blew me away when I was evaluating Final Cut Pro was the way the viewer worked. It did SO much. Transitions a case in point. Working with them in the viewer was beautiful.

Apple needs to revisit this KEY feature. The new viewer is pretty hopeless. Yes it does ONE thing well but not nearly as functional as the old viewer.

I think what most of us are looking for is not the old legacy Viewer and Canvas, but the Trim Edit Window. THAT is what I'd love to have back for precision, fast editing.
