Hello!!!
As we all know, After the update of 10.0.6 no body can seem to get "neat noise reducer" working and I've estimated that it will take an age to get an update in order to get it to work. Thus "Pixel Film Studios" sent me an email telling me about a series of plugins entitled "Pro lens". "Pro Lens" carries within it two Noise reducing plug-ins.
However I was disappointed to find that neither had the desired effect that "Neat" would output.
So my question to you wonderful people is....
Is there any other noise reducing plug in that can replicate what "Neat video" used to be able to do?
Thank you!!!

I just hope they release magic bullet denoiser for FCPX. They already have looks & mojo working fine. Just waiting on that and I wont have to run all my footage through adobe first..

Neat works for me with 10.0.6. It is just very very slow. For a 30 minute video I just let it share (render) all night.

The Tiffen DFX3 video and film bundle includes a DENOISER, DEBLOCKER and DEBANDING filter in the image group. It will cost you $350 roughly but has a complete arsenal of filters, effects, grads, etc. The denoiser works pretty well but I can't compare it to Neat Video since I have never used that. Check out the free trial and see if it will do what you need.

I would also like to see another de-noiser.
Neat seems to work but it looks not very intuitive.

Neat works fine on 10.0.6. And I actually think it's very fast on the Mac Pro Retina.
IMO very intuitive to use.
I would say it's a must have if you do GoPro or DSLR stuff.

Neat works perfectly for us as well (MacPros and i7 iMacs running ML and 10.0.6). It can be slow on some specific clips, but mostly it is pretty fast to work with.
