Problem with Compound Clip duration in Event Browser

I have a problem with the duration of compound clip in event browser.

Let me explain, my client digitize and select the material that we want to use in a making-of in FCP 7 then he export a XML, I open 7toX to convert from FCP7 to FCP X the duration of the compound clip in the event browser is 22:59:15, In FCP X I duplicate the compound clip and then begin editing the material and add B-Roll, music, graphic etc. and the making-of final duration is 6:42:02.

Now my problem, I export the compound clip to ProRes and it take a log time to export and when it finish I check my QuickTime and the duration of the QuickTime is 22:59:15 at the end of 6:42:02 the other material is black. I verify to see if there is any video, gap or black at the end but no.
It dosent let me change the duration of my compound clip.

Exports use everything in the MASTER Timeline, period. That was until today, an in 10.0.6 you can select a Range and only that will export.
