I am looking for a plugin like bad boys which allows to blur or pixelate an object in Final Cut Pro X.
finalcutprox.net/store/final-cut-pro-x-bad-boys-plugin (the download here is suspicious)
Can you recommend something to me?
Thanks
Cheers

And.... what exactly is "suspicious" about it... the 2 dollar price tag?
IF you search this forum for blurs, I think you'll find exactly what you want... for free.
Here's one

or

or

or how about some experts telling you how to do it?

The 2 dollars are not the problem. I also like to pay more for this.
The problem is the method of payment in facebook or twitter. This is suspicious.

Good observation. With a cursory glance at the site, I hadn't seen that.
Neither would I pay thru those methods.
Hopefully one of the links will give you what you need...

I think if you experiment with the free plugins I linked for you, the effect you desire can be achieved. If the person is moving throughout the scene you will probably have to track them either by hand, key-framing a mask or using Mocha or some other tracking tool.

You do not have to buy anything, FCPX has the FX already, just click on EFFECTS, then click on STYLIZE, then scroll down the thumbnails and find CENSOR. It is very good you have a choice of BLUR, PIXILATE or DARKEN you can also key frame it so the censored area follows the face, I hope this helps and saves you spending money that you don't need to.
