Strange importing message with P2 media

Helping a friend figure out his P2 workflow with FCPX and on several clips he gets the attached error message telling us there is a problem with the clip. Tried importing from the card and from a camera archive, but the same thing. Other clips on the card import fine. Any thoughts?

Sounds like an actual error in the clip. I use P2 all the time and never saw that. Might try P2CMS and export an exact duplicate of the card choosing DO COMPARE to ensure the drive copy is the same as the camera copy, but more and more sounds like that specific clip is bad.
