Many of your Plugins in this film!!!!! was created by Don Rumsey
As titled...many f the free plugins offered here by the wonderful members of this site are included into this overladen effect fest of a promo film. I film and edit this party every year now and I basically through every thing in including the kitchen sink. The owner of the DJ company and everyone that goes to the party looks forward to what I'm going to do with it every year. Since my move to FCPX this last year everything was so much faster and easier and more of a joy to do. Work is out of the way....and the ability to just create is here.
I dedicate this film to the members that have provided all of the free bies to this site and a big THANK YOU to you!!!!!!!!

Very cool video.
What effects are you using at 3:07 and 3:15? I would like to find them on the site and download them. Thanks.

Ah thank you very much. If you are referring to the split screen...that wasn't actually from this site. Thats from a company called Crumplepop and can be found here
www.crumplepop.com/fcp-split-screen/
It costs $75...but i think I was able to get it at a discount when it first came out. Very cool though. It can be done however with the transformation tools within FCPX...Crumplpop just makes it so much faster. Time is money ya know?

Yep,
great Video Clip!
Gives me a lot inspirations, it´s real great to see, what people make
with the plugins.
Real nice to see those plugins embedded in a movie creation.
It´s very interesting, to find out, what other people do with them.
You can find different angles, different point of views, or different ways, how to use
the plugins.
I really enjoy those "push up`s" for my brain...
THX for sharing...
Micha.

Thanks Mikey! And thank you for the Plug Ins. Creating is so much fun in FCP X. I've used your Glass Slice as well in another project and the Flicker I believe. Love that Gel!!!!

I like your video. I was just wondering how did you do the split screen with the scene in the background at 0:35?

Thanks for liking it.
To start off the background is actually the full screen version of the screen to the right. It's in the Primary Storyline and has the TKY Bokeh Lens Blur, (settings maxed), and the FCPX Vignette. Then I just have a couple of secondary story lines that have the Alex 4D Border and Drop Shadow V2 effect which will also scale it down for you. (Actually all drop shadows you see are done with this effect, Alex Rocks!). The clips also contain the FXPX Vignette, and I used the Alex 4D Fade in and Fade out effect. It was easier to use that effect than the FCPX Dissolve transition... Seems I remember the Dissolve kept screwing up the timeline. The faux 3D look of the screens was just using the Distort controls for the clips. Pretty basic stuff really.

I did a video for a client that showcases his commercial flooring projects and I used your flare title, changed the coloring to the clients company colors and he absolutely loves it. We're gettin' some credit for the hard work you did. Feel like I owe you a couple bucks
Creating history....one edit at a time !
