Resolve and FCPX was created by DSvoboda356
I am trying to roundtrip between resolve 9 lite and x and I am having an issue. My timeline populates fine in the conform module of Resolve but when I go to the Color module most of my clips are blackout and not available. I think it is a compound clip issue. Has anyone had any experience with this?

We use Resolve on a daily basis. Compound clips from FCP10 ate not supported yet.

Thank you for the reply! Do you know what a good workflow would be then for working with DSLR footage in Resolve? Since syncing creates a compound clip.

Select your synchronized clips and perform a Break Apart Clip Items action (SHIFT+CMD+G).
Your synchronized clips will be split into separate video and audio clips. The audio will still be perfectly synched with the video but you won't have a compound clip anymore, which will allow you to roundtrip to Resolve without any problems.

Of course, Resolve has synching abilities now, so you could make your synch clips there and export ProRes proxies to FCPX to edit with.... Resolve can apply LUTS to Cinestyle footage en masse so its another way to do the workflow.

This is all great information. I could have sworn read that Resolve 9 supported compound clips.
