Audition Issue

Audition Issue was created by NocoDave
On a hunch I just discovered that auditions work with compound clips, so here's a nice tip, but it also introduced me to an issue with auditions that I'm curious about.
A full section of an edit can of course be placed inside a compound clip. Then an alternative edit for that section, also in a compound clip, can be added as an audition on the the timeline. I like this, but I discovered for the first time that if any audio or video clips are connected to an audition clip the connections are only maintained when the original audition is selected, any other auditions lose them.
In the project I was experimenting with it was easy to move the connection point to a different clip before adding the audition, but this shouldn't always be the case.
First off I'm thinking I'd like them to stick to all auditions, but maybe there are cases when it's best not to leaving each audition to have its own alternate connected clips.
Any thoughts, or does anyone know a way I've missed to have the option?
