Is this a bug or is it something I'm doing. Every time I go to zoom in (cmd 
it zooms me to a random part of the timeline, usually the start. I am well aware that if you have clips selected or playhead over these clips it should zoom there or gap for that matter but it is doing the opposite. I am a seasoned pro on FCP7 BTW

Oh yeah, I hear you on this one. Fortunately it was fixed in 10.0.1. However, the issue is still somewhat there when you have the trim tool selected and skimming is turned off.

I am using the update... could be when trim tool is selected though. Thanks for that, I'll try it. Loads of little bugs need sorting really but I am loving the program :woohoo:
