Sports title

I'm trying to use the Sports title, but when I import the pic it cuts the sides off, even when I scale it in the inspector panel.
Any ideas why?
Or does anyone know the standard size for this image so I can re-size in PS?

Not sure what you mean by the sports title. Is this a standard title supplied with FCPX? Do you have a screenshot? Maybe this is an issue with the spatial conform parameter under the video tab that allows your image to fit, fill or not be resized to the project frame size.

Sorry, it is a standard title that is supplied with FCPX.

Be sure to check the conform tab to see how your title is fitting into the project frame. Sounds more like this could be the issue.

Sorry, my reply has disappeared also...probably due to server upgrades that took place.
Anyway, I posted a screen grab, but actually, your title will not have a spatial conform tab, only your actual video clip will. So I suggested this to be sure your video clip was properly fitting into your project frame the way you intended.
