blur effect

on this video 0-08 there are various different effects,
i was wondering if there is a way of doing these effects to a clip.. ive seen it on a few music videos before

please sugguest any plugins.

Ive tried doing the effect using blue and keyframes, without any luck

What specifically are you trying to do? Make the text colored like that? Make it shake? Blur in and out of it?

Coloring text like that is easy. In Motion you'll create an animated gradient. Place it on the bottom track. Place the text on the track directly above it. Set the text layer's Blend Mode to Stencil Luma.

Noo, the same same effect that happens to this text, i would like to do this with a video clip.. to make it blur and shake like this etc

You'll want to keyframe an earthquake effect and a blur effect. Could be done in FCP X, but I'd do it in Motion for more control.
