Had this error today whilst transcoding media to Proxy, there was 70GB still available on the disk where the Events are and I hadn't moved anything. It just appeared so I closed FCPX and then restarted and continued to transcode...

Yeah it can happen I have seen it couple times now. Also it can appear do to read write permissions or if file are moved within the Final Cut Folders...

I've realised why I was getting it. The error message came up everytime I tried to play any media in the Project (whilst transcoding to Proxy) must be just putting a strain on the system.
